Description: This Project is based on the Beautiful Garden route in south africa, in a small Village next to the ocean, called: ST FRANCIS BAYThis project involves teaching children from less Privileged Backgrounds to swim. These children never have the chance to see a swimming pool. A swimming pool is far out of reach for these children. They come from areas that have lack of water and no electricity. Their living conditions are poor.We have had a few drownings in the ocean, due to children swimming in the sea when they don't know how to swim. We started this project to create an awareness of currents in the oceans and to teach the children that they cannot swim on their own. We teach them how to swim in the swimming pool in St Francis bay.The parents are so happy that we are teaching their children to swim. We also bless the people with Food and prayer within the townships. Please feel free to see our other projects on: www.volunteerinsouthafrica.co.ukWe look forward to hearing from you.God bless
