Relevant Engineering qualification.
5 Years process planning experience within an automotive manufacturing Press Shop environment.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and CAD / Microstation literate.
Have detailed knowledge of Press Shop processes and equipment.
Sound technical knowledge with respect to the Production, Tooling, Facilities and Systems.
Have excellent experience in New Tooling introductions and commissioning activities.
Have proven analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
Speak and read German – advantageous.
Be able to communicate at all levels – essential.

THE POSITION ENTAILS:
Be responsible for co-ordination of documentation updates - timing plans, part listings, tooling buy-off sheets and part approvals etc.
Co-ordinate and document the part buy-off activities between the Suppliers and Quality Department.
Co-ordinate part line side availability for build activities and part release levels – Part Generation control.
Documentation, co-ordination and updates of problem sheets in conjunction with Suppliers raised during the build phase discussed at weekly meetings.
Co-ordinate documentation in conjunction with Suppliers I.e. Material Plans.
Centralized control of Supplier information regarding design, planning, simulation and maintenance documentation.
Participate in process and ergonomic improvement workshops.
Provide technical support to resolve production problems related to achievement of quality and Production volume targets.
Support the Project Engineers in all aspects of the introduction of New Tooling, commissioning phase including introduction of Engineering Changes into the process.
Analysing the impact of ECR’s and proposed Product changes on the Process and management of the changes into Production.
Co-ordinate spare part requirements in conjunction with Planning, Suppliers and Maintenance.
