This position is for someone who will be part of the Branch Management Team and leads all sales operations while overseeing activities of the sales, buying, receiving and dispatch teams. The key objective is to grow new sales while maintaining existing trade for the hardware business. The applicant must have a proven record of leading and motivating staff, inventory control and relevant dynamic sales experience.

Primary responsibilities:

Customer service

Create new sales strategies with promotional materials

Inventory control

Keep up to date with sales targets

Lead and motivate staff

Instore training of staff

Qualifications and requirements:


Marketing or Business tertiary qualification would be an advantage

3 Years retail experience, in a build/hardware environment

Computer literacy is essential

Knowledge of Sage with the understanding of PO’s and GRV’s would be an advantage

Financial accounting knowledge, with a focus on GP is essential

Must be willing to relocate to the Underberg area
