We’ll give you an honest estimate from the largest projects you undertake to the time essential punch list items you want handled. When we take on your asphalt paving project, we're focused on three main aspects to ensure your project gets done right and on time. Drainage The biggest culprit to pavement failure is water. Standing water along the sides of your pavement allows moisture to soak beneath and saturate your gravel base leaving your pavement vulnerable to heavier vehicles and frost heaves. Get the water away and your pavement will stay! Gravel Base The asphalt we put down is only as strong as the supporting gravel base it is resting on. Asphalt pavement stacked on a solid, compacted base should leave a 100mm to 150mm gravel shoulder on each side of the finished asphalt pavement. Edging Laying kerb stones along all the edges to support the tar layer and enhancing curb appeal. Bottom Line Simply put, tar surface pavements fail due to poor drainage, lack of gravel or incorrect edging. So why not let us the experts design your asphalt pavement to last you for years and years. Please leave a reply and we will get back to in less than 12 hrs.
